Lets start at the Sinai side of the Red Sea. From Akaba till Dahab its usual to do Shore diving. Mainly you can see from the Aquatic Life there blue spotted Stingrays, Nudybrunches, Turtles, Dugong, Dolphins, other kind of Rays, Nemo ( Annemone fish) , and a variety of different kind of corals.
From Sharm El Sheik you can do Shore diving, Daily Boat diving and Liveaboard.
The main dive sides in Sharm El Sheik are:
Jackson Reef, Woodhouse Reef, Thomas Reef, Gordon Reef and of course Ras Mohamed. ( Ras means head).
All the dive sides i wrote above are reachable with a Daily diver Boat and with Liveaboard ( which are called Safariboats).
And of course each dive side has its highlights.
Also at the Sinai side are some wrecks who are quite famous like the Dunraven at Shaab Mahmoud and the Thistlegorm in the street of Gobal.
At the mainland of Egypt you find a lot of different diving places. Lets start from north to south:
El Gouna : Dailydiving
Hurghada : Dailydiving, Safariboat ( going to the north - wreck diving and to the sides in front of
Sharm El Sheik, as well to the marine park island in the south like Brother Island and
Daedalus)
Safaga : Dailydiving, Safariboat ( going to the North and to the marine park islands)
El Quesier : Dailydiving
Port Galib : Dailydiving, Safariboat ( going to the marine park islands and to the deep south )
Marsa Alam : Dailydiving, Safariboat ( going to the marine park islands and to the deep south)
Hamata : Dailydiving, Safariboat ( mainly going to the south and deep south)
